Description
Saying goodbye, though often sad and difficult, becomes the norm for global workers. How can families and friends say goodbye meaningfully? What can sending churches do to communicate care as they say goodbye to those who are leaving to face many unknowns and certain difficulties? Global workers themselves say so many hellos and goodbyes to coworkers and teammates, they may start to feel that their field is like a revolving door.
As a third-culture kid (TCK), global worker and now member care provider, Eva Burkholder has learned through the years the importance of saying goodbye well. Listen in as she shares about some mistakes that are easy to make because of the grief involved in leaving and watching loved ones depart, as well as discover ways you can say healthy goodbyes.
