What does member care look like for global workers? Who is involved? Dorcas Harbin answers these questions and shares how member care has developed through the years. With over 53 years of experience, she talks about some of the most common stressors that cross-cultural workers face and their need for a safe place to share those struggles and receive help. One Another Ministries specializes in providing member care, helping mobilization centers and supporting churches care well for these workers.

Dorcas Harbin is one of the co-founders of One Another Ministries and has served with One Another using her gifts in counseling, consulting, training and encouragement since 1997. She holds degrees in missions and christian education, as well as a Master of Arts in counseling.
She has over 53 years of extensive experience in Christian ministry and missions, including counseling, teaching, training, market research and corporate administration. Her involvement with global ministry projects in 51 countries has helped develop an awareness of cross-cultural workers' unique needs. She believes, "when a missionary is encouraged, the Light of the Gospel shines brighter where they serve."
Dorcas serves on the Board of Directors and as executive vice-president of One Another Ministries. She also serves on the executive committee of Shoulder to Shoulder, an initiative of One Another. She is now based in Forest, Virgina and continues to serve globally from there.
