Guest Bio

Kathy Noel has served in children's ministries for the past 35 years. Presently, she is the Director of Child Discipleship at Calvary Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she has been on staff since 2003. Kathy's passions include writing Bible curriculum, teaching children the overarching one story of the Bible and encouraging parents in the discipleship of their children.

Kathy grew up in Ontario, Canada where she earned her elementary teaching degree. Before joining the children's ministry world, Kathy taught second grade in both public and private schools in Canada and the U.S. Over the years, she has enjoyed being able to encourage and train children's ministry workers both at home and abroad.

Kathy met her husband, John, on a short-term missions trip to France in 1984 and they have been married for 38 years. Next to her husband, the loves of her life are her two grown sons, their wives and her three (soon to be five) grandchildren! When she is not busy in ministry, Kathy loves pouring her time and energy into hospitality, home decor and organizing, reading a good book, bike-riding and, most of all, traveling and exploring new places.
