Manarah is an intensive course in understanding and sharing Jesus with Muslims that combines classroom instruction with practical experience. Participants spend mornings in classes and evenings learning from Christar workers who’ve lived and served in Muslim communities around the world.
Manarah’s unique curriculum covers topics including Islamic history, beliefs, culture and worldview, cultural factors that can make it difficult for Westerners to share the gospel with Muslims and ways to effectively communicate the hope of Christ. After time in the classroom, you’ll learn through daily interaction with local Muslims in parks, cafes, markets and even homes. You’ll also visit a local mosque and participate in outreach programs such as English classes. Through personal connection, you’ll gain an understanding of Muslims that can’t be taught in a book or through a lecture. It’s our goal that you come away from Manarah equipped to love and share the gospel with Muslims.
In addition to experience in the United States, we sometimes offer an optional trip to a Muslim country to experience life in a place where Islam is the majority religion. If this interests you, please contact us for more information.
