Do you have a heart to share Christ with Muslims? Consider participating in Manarah! “Manarah” means “lighthouse,” and this three-week intensive course in understanding and sharing Jesus with Muslims combines classroom instruction with practical experience.
In the mornings and early afternoons, you’ll learn from Christar workers who’ve lived and served in Muslim communities. Manarah’s unique curriculum covers topics including Islamic history, beliefs, culture and worldview, cultural factors that can make it difficult for Westerners to share the gospel with Muslims and ways to effectively communicate the hope of Christ.
After time in the classroom, you’ll learn through daily
interaction with local Muslims in parks, cafes, markets and even homes. You’ll also visit local mosques and participate in outreach programs such as English classes. Through personal connection, you’ll gain an understanding of Muslims that can’t be taught in a book or through a lecture.
It’s our goal that you come away from Manarah equipped to love and share the gospel with Muslims. Join us this summer!
