Every part of our efforts to cultivate Christ-honoring transformation in least-reached communities requires God’s provision, guidance and strength. This includes the ministry of the Christar Mobilization Center U.S. (CMCUS) as we recruit and equip new workers and serve those already on the field. Please join us in prayer!

October 5-7: RENEW Retreat for workers on home assignment
October 9-10: Christar U.S. Board meeting
October 11-12: Mobilizer teaches two Perspectives classes in Kansas about Pioneers in the World Christian Movement
October 20-23: Christar mobilizer participates in Columbia International University (CIU) World Christian Week and meets with area churches
October 21-23: Several Christar staff participate in a conference held by Site Stacker, the company that hosts our website and provides us with numerous online services
October 23-25: Christar field worker and mobilizer speak at Maranatha Bible Church's missions conference.
October 27: Mobilizer participates in Liberty University Ministry Fair

October Inner Circle Requests

Rejoice that God brought 15 people to attend Explore in September—above and beyond the number we prayed for! Pray for all who participated as they consider what they learned and take next steps.

Praise the Lord for a month full of opportunities to interact with students, campus leaders and church leaders! Pray that mobilizers will make good connections, and ask God to work through them in the lives of those considering how He could use them in the Great Commission.

Lift up the workers participating in the RENEW debriefing retreat. Pray for the member care staff and TCK coordinator as they seek to make this a meaningful and refreshing time.

Pray for our director of personnel and member care coordinator as they travel to Spain to help with our THRIVE conference for workers in their first term. Ask God to work through them as they teach a few sessions and are available for debriefing and consultation.

Ask for a smooth transition and flexible minds as we implement a new budgeting platform and tool. Pray that this change helps us steward our resources more efficiently.

Thank God for providing visas for several appointees, enabling them to go to the countries in which they’re seeking to serve. Pray for grace and good “goodbyes” as they prepare to depart.
