For years, Alyssa kept telling her Muslim friends about Jesus even though no one came to believe in him. This year, two of her friends were born again. What are their testimonies and how did God work in their lives? What does discipleship look like for them? Alyssa shares with us some things she has learned when sharing Christ with her international friends.

Bio
Alyssa first met the people group she works among in 2008 when doing an internship for college. In the city she visited, there was not a single believer from this people group. There was no church and no Bible in their language. She decided to return to that country to plant a church as soon as possible.
For eight years she helped recruit a team, raised support and became fluent in the language of this people group. Finally in 2016 Alyssa and her husband, Andrew, moved overseas to their new city with the intent of living there and planting a church for the next 20 years. After only one year they had to return to the States for medical reasons. God was so good to open a door for them to continue to church plant among the same people group in a city in North America. She and her team have been serving there for the last seven years.
