Who? Roma

What? Serve alongside workers at a preschool and a kids’ ministry, and assist with programs including Bible studies and community outreach events. Spend about half of your time with the Roma and the other half on other ministry-related activities.

When? Spring or fall semesters

Where? Albania

Why? The team seeks to plant a culturally relevant church in its city, as well as disciple local believers who can lead and multiply the church over the long term.

How? Life is lived at a slower pace in Albania and relational time is highly valued. The Roma, who practice Folk Islam, are a marginalized minority and face many challenges. The team is seeking to increase this group’s access to the gospel and praying that the message of Christ will produce a great harvest among them.

Cost? $3,900 for two months (add $700/month after that)
