Christar workers with training in music and ethnomusicology have the opportunity to help emerging communities of faith express worship in culturally relevant ways, and to use music as a means for communicating the gospel.

Some musically trained Christar workers use their expertise to create educational and relational opportunities with least-reached people in their field of service.

Ethnomusicologists work to help local believers worship God using their culture’s unique artistic expressions. Beautiful worship and new depths of understanding emerge when local artists are empowered to become a part of the building of God’s kingdom.
