Two
to four weeks
Take a two-week
to one-month intercessory, seed-sowing, vision-casting tour of Asia
Minor. Visit ancient cities of biblical significance, meet nationals,
rub shoulders with long-term workers and taste what living in Asia Minor
is like. Catch a vision of what God is doing in this land and develop
a greater ability and passion to pray for Muslim people and the ministry
here. Begin to think about how you could be part of seeing this country
come to Christ.
Construction
and Landscaping Team
June 1-15, 2010
Join a
work team of skilled laborers to help complete the construction of six
homes for the Cleft of the Rock, a missionary retreat center in Asia
Minor. All construction is concrete and block. A team is also needed
to work on landscaping and building trails around the site.
Holland
Two weeks or more
Join our
missionary teams in Rotterdam/Den Haag. Accompany our missionaries in
existing outreach and discipleship, learn some of the Dutch language,
distribute literature in areas where Hindustanis are concentrated and
make contacts that can be followed up by our workers.

Northwest
Africa
Two
to six weeks
Experience
Northwest Africa! Join us in a 1,200-year-old city and interact with
Muslims. Study Arabic, either Modern Standard Arabic or the local dialect,
as you gain cross-cultural experience in an Islamic culture. You could
explore imperial cities, mountain villages and the Sahara Desert, and
live with a national family.
Trekking
Two weeks or more
Adventure awaits your team as you go trekking in Northwest
Africa. Stay with Berbers in their mountain villages and experience
the Imazighen culture and language. Treks are organized by an experienced
trekking company that has operated in Fez for a number of years. A team
of at least eight individuals is required for this adventure.
Philippines
Four
weeks to two years
The Lanao
Development Team is open to short- and long-term teams, individuals
or interns who want to serve on a church-planting team
that is involved in a variety of ministries. Many skills or gifts could
be used. Serve in church planting, using your gifts in evangelism, discipleship,
leadership development, music and/or youth ministry, or work in
community development using your skills in engineering, medicine,
agriculture, business, marketing, education and/or social work. This
team’s ministries are diverse and open to those wishing to use
almost any talent or skill. Gain experience in all levels of the church-planting
process and further develop the skills you bring to the team. Team opportunities
include: Perfectly Natural Herbs (www.perfectlynauralherbs.com),
a trade school, rural clinics, preschools, a mobile clinic, physical
therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, farming and other livelihood
projects.

South
Asia
Two
to three weeks
Your team
of three to six people will work alongside long-term workers among Muslims
in two South Asian cities. This trip can take place any time of year.
Possible opportunities for your team include learning culture, personal
evangelism and visitation, English camps for women and children, sports
camps and prayer walking, as well as visits to important Muslim sites.

for all short-term trips are subject to change. Estimated costs
are given in U.S. dollars and include international flights,
which may vary by several hundred dollars. Costs do not include
passport fees, immunizations (due to individual country requirements),
prayer letters or “blaze.” These costs may be reimbursed
if funds are raised beyond what is necessary for your short-term
trip. Participants must be at least 20 years old or have finished
one year of college.
