UPDATE ON THE FLOOD RELIEF

Since flooding recently devasted areas of the Philippines, Christar has been busy using the funds donors have so freely given to meet the many needs of the hurting. Here are just a few of the ways your generous donations are restoring this needy area.

- A local pastor lost everything. While his daily needs were being met, Christar was able to provide him with a computer loaded with some Bible resources to help him continue to minister to his church family.

- In a nearby Muslim community, children’s clothes were provided by your funds and are being distributed by a teacher, who will be an effective individual to share about God’s love in the future.

- When Christar went to hand out items in another community damaged by floods, they learned that the water pump used by several families no longer worked. Thanks to your gifts, Christar was able to provide a new pump to this community. What a joy to be able to provide drinking water for so many families!

- One relocation center had plenty of rice, but not much to go with it. Christar purchased salted fish, greens, vegetables and Bibles for a number of families.

- Your generous giving also purchased building materials for mulitiple families to rebuild or repair their homes. A young pastor who first called attention to this needy area will be having Bible studies with these families with a view to plant a church among them!

- Because of your donations, Christar has been able to repair homes, provide food, water and Bibles to those in need and has even partnered with other organizations to plant churches among the least-reached. Medical care has been administered and lives have been changed! Thank you again for giving! You have made a difference in the lives of the least-reached!
